[Haiti] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 7 April 2025, in Mirebalais, Centre, for a second consecutive day, gang members fired shots and set fires in the downtown of Mirebalais. The criminals were identified as members of the Canaan Gang and the 400 Mawozo Gang. According to the mayor, there are people who have been killed and injured. This was part of an offensive orchestrated by the Viv Ansanm Gang aimed at taking control of Mirebalais.
