Around 13 April 2025 (as reported), in San Pedro Sula, Cortes, an individual was killed and their dismembered body was found wrapped in plastic bags and abandoned on the roadside leading to the El Limonar residential area. The victim showed apparent signs of torture and was suspectedly bound before being dismembered. Due to the condition of the body, authorities have not been able to determine the victim's sex or age.
