[Honduras] Strategic developments: Arrests

On 2 April 2025, in Tegucigalpa, Francisco Morazan, police forces arrested a suspected Barrio 18 (B-18) gang leader in connection with the killing of four people on 19 March in the Cerrito Lindo neighborhood of the Rivera Hernandez sector in San Pedro Sula. The suspect is also suspected to oversee drug trafficking and contract killings in the La Planeta neighborhood. During the arrest, authorities seized 137 packages of suspected cocaine, 4 bags of marijuana, 36 portions of crack cocaine, 15 prohibited cartridges, and a mobile phone. He is the third suspect arrested in relation to the incident in the Rivera Hernandez sector.
