[Guatemala] Battles: Armed clash

On 25 March 2025, in Guatemala City, Guatemala, two armed men on a motorbike opened fire against a pick up truck in the 5 Avenue with 2 Street, in colonia La Florida (Zone 19), injuring one of its occupants, identified as a businessman (drive-by). An occupant of the pick up truck, identified as the bodyguard of the injured man, fired back, killing one of the attackers. The other attacker managed to escape. The motivation for the attack is unknown. 1 fatality, 1 injured.
