On 29 March 2025, early in the morning, a group of about 50 assailants, likely far-left, targeted the MAT riot police unit stationed outside the offices of PASOK in Exarchia, Athens - Central Athens. They hurled stones, sticks, marble pieces and bottles at police officers, who responded with tear gas and stun grenades. Clashes moved to Exarchia square with sporadic attacks against police for 1 hour. There was 1 arrest.
