[Ghana] Riots: Mob violence

On 4 April 2025, youths marched to a police station where officers took refuge, and attempted to set it on fire in Yamfo (Tano North, Ahafo) after the police raided a place known for Indian hemp smoking and peddling, killing a young man who had been arrested at the scene (coded separately). Young people 'vandalized' (no further information) the Yamfo police station and clashed with police officers (no further information on the type of violence that happened). The military personnel intervened by firing warning shots to disperse the crowd. 1 resident was shot and injured and taken to hospital.
