[Ecuador] Battles: Armed clash

On 7 April 2025, in San Lorenzo de Esmeraldas (Esmeraldas), police forces exchanged gunfire with unidentified armed individual on motorbikes during a police chase in the Zona Franca neighborhood. One suspect was shot and injured and he had participated in a drive-by killing earlier (coded separately). There were no fatalities.
