[Democratic Republic of Congo] Explosions/Remote violence: Air/drone strike

On 27 March 2025, FARDC carried out drone strikes and airstrikes (using Sukhoi 25) on a M23 plane stationed at the Kigoma airfield located in the town of Walikale (Walikale, Nord-Kivu). The plane and another vehicle were destroyed. The plane had been suspected of being used to supply M23 in Walikale. Around 3 crew members were suspected of being killed by the explosion, and one more managed to leave the plane before it was hit.
