[Zimbabwe] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 31 March 2025, about 200 residents blocked roads with stones, bricks, and tires in Harare (Harare Urban, Harare) and demonstrated against the President's government and the proposed extension of his term. They demanded that the president resign and that his cabinet step down. Police utilized tear gas to disperse the crowd. The demonstrators threw stones at the police. Police arrested 9 journalists and 98 demonstrators. Extent of injuries unknown/not reported.
