Around 9 April 2025 (as reported), Houthi forces abducted an unspecified number of civilians from different areas of Sadah governorate (coded to governorate capital Sadah) (Saadah), under accusations of spying for the United States. Houthi forces including Zainabiat raided houses and looked through phones of men, women, and children searching for sent coordinates as they suspected that they were collaborating with the US forces and sending coordinates to strike. They were taken to an unknown location.
