Around 16 April 2025 (from 13 - 16 April), Houthi forces arrested a number of tribal leaders, including 1 in Al Hudaydah governorate (coded to governorate capital Al Hudaydah) and 8 in Sanaa governorate (coded to governorate capital Sanaa) (Amanat al Asimah) on espionage charges accusing them of informing the US forces of coordinates, locations and names which were targeted by US strikes. They were taken to unknown location.
