On 10 April 2025, dozens Hujur tribesmen began a tribal armed sit-in protest in Harf Sufyan district (coded to district center Al Harf) to pressure Houthi forces to arrest the suspects in the killing of 3 of their fellow tribesmen, demanding especially for the recent murder of a fellow tribesman who was killed over a financial dispute.
