[Trinidad and Tobago] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 4 April 2025, in Marabella, San Fernando, overnight, three masked armed men dressed in dark clothes came out from a track and shot and killed a man at the West Bayshore neighborhood. Another man was injured. The perpetrators fled the scene. The victim had been involved in an altercation moments before, although the motivation for the attack was not clarified. He had been charged with murder in 2018 and was released from prison in September 2022. 1 fatality, 1 injured.
