On 3 April 2025, protestors gathered in Savsat town, Artvin to protest the detention of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu and the detention of protestors during the demonstrations against his arrest. Members of CHP (including a mayor), Halkevleri and SOL attended the protest.
