[Turkey] Protests: Protest with intervention

On 3 April 2025, thousands of local Kurdish people gathered at 4 Nisan Park in Halfeti, Sanliurfa to demand the lifting of the isolation imposed on PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan and his release from prison as part of their demonstration march to Omerli neighborhood of Halfeti where PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan was born. Members of DEM (including MPs), DBP, TJA and The Peace Mothers attended the protest. Gendarmerie forces intervened in the protest with tear gas and water cannons.
