On 14 April 2025, youth from the Twic and Ngok Dinka communities from Warrap State and Abyei, respectively, who engaged in dialogue between 9 and 14 April 2025 in Wau (Wau, Western Bahr el Ghazal) agreed, among other issues, to end ongoing conflicts and promote peaceful coexistence between their communities. The dialogue was facilitated by the national Ministry of Peacebuilding, UNMISS, and UNISFA, with support from NGOs.
