[Somalia] Violence against civilians: Attack

On 8 April 2025, Somaliland Police Tax Collection Support Officer shot and killed a civilian khat/miraa dealer in the Masalaha area in Hargeysa town (Hargeysa, Woqooyi Galbeed). The individual attempted to forcefully bypass the police during a tax enforcement operation. Two police officers were arrested.
