On 28 March 2025, parents and students from the Zarkovo settlement gathered in front of the 'Ljuba Nenadovic' school in Belgrade - Cukarica, protesting against the dismissal of a longstanding history teacher. The teacher got fired soon after his public support for the blockades and students' demands.
