On 29 March 2025, Saraya al Quds (PIJ) launched three mortars at IDF troops operating on the outskirts of Khan Yunis, coded to Bani Suheila (Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip), and an Israeli bulldozer was targeted with an IED in the same area, with no casualties reported on the Israeli side. In response, Israeli forces targeted the site from which the mortars were launched. Casualties unknown on Palestinian side. This event occurred following the expiration of the first phase of the ceasefire.
