Other: On 3 April 2025, in Managua, Managua, the Government of Nicaragua canceled the legal status of the Foundation Center for the Social and Rural Promotion, Research and Development (CIPRES). The CIPRES' facilities were also raided. The Center's closure is part of a larger crackdown on civil society, with over 5,600 NGOs dissolved by the regime since 2018. In addition to CIPRES, six religious organizations were also canceled.
