[Nigeria] Battles: Armed clash

On 4 April 2025, an unidentified armed group opened fire on a Chinese convoy, killing 2 Chinese individuals and 1 Nigerian police escort while they were traveling to the Chinese mining quarry site in Agukwu Amaya Ndundu Community, location coded to the closest populated area to the scene of the attack, Uturu (Isuikwuato, Abia). Police rescued three other Chinese individuals, while one police officer was declared missing. The assailants fled with a police rifle. There were 3 fatalities.
