On 16 April 2025, the Malaysian immigration department and police forces arrested 69 individuals during a raid on two entertainment venues along Klang Lama road, Kuala Lumpur city (Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur). The arrestees were 26 foreign women hostesses and 38 Malaysians. The foreigners were from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and Singapore. They did not have valid documents.
