[Mexico] Violence against civilians: Attack

Around 4 April 2025 (as reported), near Metzquititlan, Hidalgo, a man was killed and his body was found with a stabbed wound in his neck and wrapped in bags. The victim was the father of the current councilor of Zacualtipan and former Morena candidate for mayor of that municipality in the last June 2024 elections. The victim had been reported missing on 30 March. 1 fatality.
