On 9 April 2025, in Tijuana, Baja California, a state police officer was killed by unidentified armed individuals during a police operation in Fraccionamiento Barcelona Residencial. The victim was the Head of Liaison of the State Force for Citizen Security (FESC). One of the perpetrators, a U.S. man, was arrested in Tijuana on 17 April 2025. 1 fatality.
