[Myanmar] Violence against civilians: Abduction/forced disappearance

On 8 April 2025, in Mya Yar Chaung village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the People's Security Force - Tanintharyi and local people's defense forces detained a married couple after receiving information that they were selling drugs in a rubber plantation area. They were arrested with 2 WY narcotic pills. They were charged under section 16(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
