On 31 March 2025, shop owners, with banners, protested in the Pavillons market of Analakely, in Antananarivo - Arrondissement 1 (Antananarivo-Renivohitra, Analamanga) against the arrival of new street vendors following the ban on street vendors occupying sidewalks. The vendors demanded a solution from the municipal authorities.
