Around 28 March 2025 (as reported), for the third pf three consecutive days, residents of Vambo, joined by residents from 10 towns and villages, including Gblorso, Vahzohn, Baryogar, Boe, and Cee, protested against C&C Corporation in Vambo Township, closest to Vahzohn (Neekreen, Grand Bassa) over an exclusionary logging contract and mismanagement of resources. The protesters blocked (means unspecified) roads, demanding accountability for US$6,000 mismanagement and proper consultation. The protests ended when the police arrived.
