[South Korea] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 28 March 2025, members of the KCTU-affiliated Korean Public Service And Transportation Workers' Union Education Workers Solidarity Division (KPTU EDUSOL) Chungbuk Branch held a press conference and picketed at Chungcheongbuk-do Office of Education (Cheongju). They protested against the excessive workload imposed on school administrative workers, as tasks are being transferred to these workers due to the implementation of the Neulbom Schools (after-school and childcare programs in elementary schools). They urged authorities to increase the number of staff in school administrative offices and to reevaluate the Neulbom program.
