[Kyrgyzstan] Violence against civilians: Attack

Around 26 March 2025 (month of), prison guards physically assaulted a male 18-year-old detainee at the SIZO-1 detention facility near the Oktyabr district in Bishkek city, which the detainee's relative said that the victim was transported to the hospital for surgery due to injury. Prison authorities denied the assault claims, syndicating that the detainee suffered a brain blood circulation medical condition, possibly meningitis while in detention after which the detainee was provided medical care at the National Hospital.
