On 10 April 2025, AJYCP members staged a massive protest rally with placards and slogans in Dhemaji town (Assam) against the BJP led Assam government for the increase in prices of essential commodities including medications. Protesters also burned the effigy of Assam's Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister.
