On 8 April 2025, a driver of a dumping gravel truck was injured in a pressure-activated Improvised Explosive Device explosion, suspected to be planted by the Naxal-Maoist rebels in the dense forests between Kutul and Bedmakoti police camps (Narayanpur, Chhattisgarh). The victim's leg was amputated.
