[Honduras] Strategic developments: Looting/property destruction

Property destruction: On 5 April 2025, in El Guano, Colon, military forces destroyed 42,500 coca plants discovered on a mountainside. The operation was conducted by the Strategic Information Directorate (C-2), the Fifteenth Special Forces Battalion, and the Directorate for the Fight Against Drug Trafficking (DLCN). A rustic structure used as a processing center for coca base paste was also found. Later, in the same area, authorities located and eradicated another 1.4 hectares plantation containing 16,900 additional coca plants.
