[Honduras] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 31 March 2025, in Las Flores, Comayagua, around 2,000 residents from La Libertad, Ojo de Agua, San Jeronimo, and Las Lajas blocked both lanes of the CA-5 highway at the Conejo junction in protest, demanding urgent repairs to the deteriorating road. The protest was led by the mayor of San Jeronimo, who denounced repeated unfulfilled promises from the government, including meetings with the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Transport (SIT).
