[Honduras] Battles: Armed clash

On 27 March 2025, in San Pedro Sula, Cortes, overnight, members of the Barrio 18 (B-18) Gang abducted, tortured, and shot three young men in a pasture near the La Salle kindergarten, in the La Pradera sector of the Satelite neighborhood. The victims were found tied up, with visible signs of torture and gunshot wounds. According to witnesses, around 10 armed men carried out the abduction and execution. Authorities stated that the victims were suspected members of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) Gang and may have entered territory controlled by a rival group. The killings are suspected to be related to a dispute over drug distribution. 3 fatalities.
