[Guinea] Protests: Peaceful protest

On 8 April 2025, youths from Matam demonstrated in front of the emergency room of the Donka Hospital in Conakry (Matoto, Conakry) to denounce the death of two of their friends after the hospital refused to take care of them for lack of funds. On the day the 2 boys arrived at the hospital with another injured girl, their friends had ransacked the premises, assaulting some of the staff members, including the head nurse, who was beaten and had her telephone broken. The hospital insisted that the two young boy were already dead on arrival.
