[France] Riots: Mob violence

On 9 April 2025, around 10 youths fired mortar fireworks at police officers in the Mistral neighborhood of Grenoble (Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes), following the arrest of two individuals, aged 14 and 30, for drug possession earlier that day. The police had initially been surrounded by a group of youths around 18:00, and were later targeted with fireworks. No injuries were reported.
