Other: Around 10 April 2025 (as reported), a faction of the Ogaden National Liberation Front (coded as ONLF) claimed to have held the 2nd regular Central Committee meeting of the party in Jijiga (Jigjiga town, Fafan, Somali). The group removed the chairman of the front, accusing him of engaging in acts that endangered the unity of the front and contradicted its commitment to nonviolent struggle. The central committee appointed another acting chairman and agreed to hold a general assembly in three months. The officials from the National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) attended the meeting as observers. The move, however, was rejected by the Party's executive committee, which called the meeting 'illegal and fraudulent.' The executive committee planned to convene a general assembly on 20 May 2025.
