[Spain] Riots: Mob violence

On 2 April 2025, around 100 people gathered in the Font de la Polvora neighborhood of Girona (Cataluna) to oppose police officers attempting to arrest a 15-year-old suspected of vandalizing a civic center. Some participants threw stones at the Mossos d'Esquadra police and erected makeshift barricades to block police vans from reaching the operation area. Police eventually arrested the minor and his mother.
