On 17 April 2025, in Mondomo (Cauca), Jaime Martinez FARC dissidents detonated a truck with explosives outside the police station, killing a woman and injuring at least 20 other people. The explosion destroyed a nearby house and caused significant material damage to parked vehicles, the police station, and other surrounding buildings. Although she was not the intended target of the attack, the deceased woman was an Indigenous, farming, and social leader affiliated with the ANUC farming association. 1 fatality.
