On 16 April 2025, truck drivers gathered to demonstrate in Dadukou district (Dadukou, Chongqing) to demand the urban management office stop imposing excessive penalties against drivers working for small companies. They said that the measure would drive away small companies from the market and cause a duopoly. The demonstration had lasted for six days in multiple districts in Chongqing (separately coded).
