[Ivory Coast] Riots: Mob violence

On 31 March 2025, overnight, 2 groups of youths from Akye and Malinke clashed, with blunt objects and projectiles, in Akoupe (Me, Lagunes), following a dispute in a recreational area of a neighborhood in the city. Local police called for reinforcements and then intervened with tear gas. The casualties are unknown, but there was material damage, including to local businesses.
