On 24 March 2025, in Dangriga, Stann Creek, two armed men on a motorbike opened fire against a man who was standing outside his home, killing him (drive-by). The man was a local fisherman. The police suspect that the attack could be a reprisal for an earlier killing committed by the man's son (coded separately). Another theory pointed that the victim might have accidentally come across some illicit cargo while he was out fishing. Investigations are ongoing. 1 fatality.
