Around 3 April 2025 (as reported), in Maceio (Alagoas), residents beat up a suspect of theft in the Conjunto Salvador Lira neighborhood. The group caught and assaulted the suspect after he attempted to rob a motorcycle app driver. The suspect was arrested. There were no fatalities.
