On 3 April 2025, in Juripiranga (Paraiba), civil and military police officers exchanged fire with drug traffickers. The officers conducted an operation to locate and arrest the suspects, who were wanted for drug trafficking. The suspects resisted to the officers' approach and fired against them, leading up to an armed clash. During the clash, a suspect was shot and killed. A second one was arrested, and two others escaped. Police seized firearms, ammunition and drugs. 1 fatality.
