On 26 March 2025, in Santa Ana, Santa Ana, parents and a group of young people held a protest outside the Complejo Educativo Profesor Martin Monterrosa school against the sexual assault perpetrated by a high school student against a young pre-school girl. They also decried the fact that the Ministry of Education had asked the people involved not talk about the incident.
