[South Sudan] Battles: Armed clash

On 8 April 2025, SSPDF forces clashed with armed youth (likely members of the 'White Army' (Nuer ethnic militia) which has been involved in similar clashes in the region) in the vicinity of the Nyang River, Nyang and Luil (Luel) areas of Doma Payam, Ulang County (location coded to Luil, the nearest known location in Ulang County, Upper Nile State). The clash followed shelling by SSPDF on armed youth positions. Casualties unknown.
