[Pakistan] Strategic developments: Disrupted weapons use

Weapons seizure: On 5 April 2025, CTD personnel conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) and recovered a large cache of explosives planted by unidentified militants (coded as Baloch Separatists) on Sariab Road in the vicinity of Radio Pakistan Tower in Quetta city (Quetta, Balochistan). CTD recovered a 20kg improvised explosive device fitted with a remote detonation mechanism, along with 50kg of high-grade explosive material buried underground. In addition, five hand grenades and three 9mm pistols with live ammunition were also seized from the site
