[Netherlands] Riots: Violent demonstration

On 20 March 2025, in the evening, at the call of the group 'No to asylum seekers' center' (Nee tegen azc), around 300 people, including children and adults, gathered outside a municipal building in Sint-Michielsgestel (Noord-Brabant) to demonstrate against the planned construction of an asylum seekers' center in the nearby town of Berlicum (Noord-Brabant). Some demonstrators threw eggs at the building, while others set off fireworks, and an illegal cobra explosive was placed at the entrance of the building. Police arrested a man for placing the cobra, and a brief scuffle ensued during the arrest when another individual attempted to interfere.
