[Nigeria] Riots: Mob violence

On 7 April 2025, youths from the Edjekota and Otor-Ewu communities clashed on a disputed land near Edjekota, also spelled as Adjekota (Ughelli North, Delta), over land ownership. A defense militia working alongside the police shot 1 person dead while attempting to restore peace. 2 other victims were shot (killer unknown) while returning from the farm, but 1 died. Some youth later blocked (means unspecified) the road between the two communities, preventing inter-communal movement. There were 2 fatalities.
