[Nigeria] Battles: Armed clash

On 10 April 2025, Nigerian Army troops, supported by Air Force strikes, attacked Katsina militias, killing a top commander alongside 100 militia members in Mununu Bakai, also called Mununu (Faskari, Katsina), Zango, Jeka Arera, Malali, and Ruwan Godiya (coded separately). The top commander had a link with ISWAP and was killed in Mununu. The strikes destroyed two machine guns, locally fabricated shotguns, and other weapons. 101 fatalities (including the commander who was killed in Mununu) split across 5 events. 21 fatalities were coded to this event.
